• Maine Gubernatorial candidates Cutler, LePage and Mitchell answer questions about important issues in cross-border economic development.
CEO/DIRECTOR-LED TOURS • Choice of:
BIOMEDICAL TOUR • This group will travel to Bar Harbor to visit Jackson Laboratory, where they will be guided through the research and production facilities. After lunch, the bus will return to Bangor, where the group will receive a tour of the Maine Institute of Human Genetics and Health research facility.
ENERGY TOUR • Passengers on this bus will head to Old Town for a tour of the biorefinery/pulp production facilities at Old Town Fuel & Fiber. Afterward, the bus will stop at the University of Maine for a tidal energy presentation by Ocean Renewable Power Company, followed by a tour of joint research projects with the University of Maine and Maine Maritime Academy. After a lunch break, the group will tour the AEWC Structures and Composites Laboratory at UMaine and see a presentation on offshore wind energy projects.
